Texas Rural Health Association is a community stakeholders that are committed to the support and promotion of healthcare throughout the State of Texas. The association focuses its efforts on the issues that are unique to rural providers and to the policies that are neccesary to maintain access to said services. Individuals interested in rural health, as well as academic institutions, non-profit organizations and vendors that share a common interest in rural health, are all welcome to join.
We provide legislative and regulatory advocacy, education programs, networking, communications and resources for rural health stakeholders; and support for rural providers who maintain the delivery healthcare services in their local communities.
TRHA, through its volunteer Board of Directors, strives to be a truly member-driven organization that thoroughly represents its diverse constituency and responds quickly to both the challenges and needs of its members. In turn, the members of TRHA gain access to a network of rural health professionals, that provides both industry expertise and peer support.
Participation in TRHA helps grow the organization and in turn, grows our ability to provide the advocacy, education and opportunities that are needed in a time of great change and evolving expectations for our healthcare system.
